Since I’ve been getting a lot of the same questions, I decided to put aside the most frequently asked ones and answer them on this page in addition to a short and sweet ‘About moi’.

ABOUT ME

My name is Carisse Iris and I’m a Southern California girl practicing makeup artistry. I dabble into music when the urge arises and am quite fond of the colour pink.

I’m currently patiently waiting for my French visa so I can start my schooling at Le Cordon Bleu Paris [for patisserie] and am hoping to have everything in 2012.

My long term goal is to open my own dessert only cafe and to hopefully succeed in having at least 2 locations under my ownership.

I’m currently living on one of my family’s properties with my dog, Meeko, who’s a yorkie-poodle mix.

I also have a knack for planning parties and organizing outings.

What is you’re heritage? 

I’m 3/4 Asian and 1/4 European

Consisting of; Filipino, Japanese, Italian and French.

How did you get you’re hair that shade of pink/lavender?

They’re wigs. My pink one is from ‘Pinkage’ and my lavender one is from ‘Yesstyle’.

Where do you buy you’re clothes?

I buy most of my stuff from eBay. My usual search  is ‘vivi’ if you’re curious…

Otherwise, I shop at a local place near me called, ‘RED’.

Where do you purchase you’re circle lenses and what brand do you use?

I buy my lenses from pinkyparadise.com and maplelens.com; I currently use ‘Sweet Eye Brown’ from i.Fairy/ Vassen. Review here

How much weight have you lost and how did you do it?

As of right now, I’ve lost a bit over 50lbs. If you’re looking for a quick fix, it’s not possible. I lost it over the span of 3 years through exercise [5-6 days a week] and eating a healthy diet [around 1,200-1,600 calories daily].

The main thing you need to have is patience and perseverance.

Where do you go to take ‘Photo Stickers/Purikura/Cue’?

I go to ‘Fancy Box’ on Artesia Blvd in Cerritos and ‘Photo Sticker’ on Brookhurst in Garden Groove.

What photo editing software do you use?

picnik.com I usually just mess with the boost, contrast and tint…
